Three services. Clear prices. Written results.
We work on mechanical watches that need a movement service, case care, or worn hardware replaced. Each service is scoped to what you actually need, nothing more.

Inspection & written note
When you drop off your watch, we inspect it with you and note any pre-existing marks or issues. You receive a copy. Nothing about its condition before service should be disputed at collection.
Scope agreed before starting
We confirm the service, the price, and the timeline. If we discover something during disassembly that changes the scope, we contact you — we don't proceed without approval.
Handover with documentation
At collection you receive a service record and, for movement work, a written accuracy report. The invoice matches what was agreed. No adjustments, no additions.
Movement Service & Accuracy Report
A full movement overhaul covering disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, lubrication of every friction point with grade-appropriate lubricants, adjustment of the balance wheel, and regulation. When the movement is reassembled, it's placed on a timing machine and measured across six positions — dial up, dial down, and the four crown positions. Those figures go on your accuracy report.
Suited to mechanical watches — manual-wind and automatic — that are due for a periodic refresh. A good movement service extends the life of the watch considerably and should be done roughly every four to six years depending on the caliber and conditions of use.
Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning of all parts
Caliber-matched lubricants applied to all contact points
Balance adjustment and precision regulation
Multi-position accuracy test and written report
12-month service warranty on parts and labour
Case & Bracelet Polishing
Hand polishing and brushing to refresh the exterior of the watch. Light surface scratches are reduced and the original finish is restored as closely as possible. Polished surfaces are polished; brushed surfaces are brushed. We don't blend or convert finishes without your explicit agreement — doing so would change the character of the piece.
A worthwhile step before a gift, a sale, or a special occasion. It won't return a heavily marked case to new condition — we'll be honest about what's achievable on your specific piece before starting. Same-week completion for most watches.
Polished and brushed areas treated separately with the correct tools
Light to moderate surface scratches addressed
Original finish preserved — no finish conversion without consent
Honest pre-service assessment of what's achievable
Same-week completion for most pieces
Spring Bar & Gasket Replacement
Worn spring bars are a common and underappreciated source of watch loss. They fatigue over time, particularly at the strap-end contact points, and can fail unexpectedly. Replacing them is inexpensive and sensible. Similarly, the gaskets (seals) around the crown and caseback degrade and should be replaced periodically to maintain moisture resistance.
This is straightforward work that doesn't require a booked appointment. Walk-in visits are welcome. Most spring bar and gasket replacements are completed while you wait or within the same day.
Quality spring bars fitted — appropriate width and length for the case
Crown and caseback gaskets replaced with fresh seals
Walk-in visits welcome — no appointment needed
Same-day completion in most cases

Professional standards across all services
Pre-service condition documentation
Every piece is examined before work begins and any existing marks or issues noted in writing. You receive a copy at drop-off.
Grade-matched lubricants
Movement lubricants are selected for the specific caliber — escapement, barrel, and keyless work each require a different grade.
Secure workspace
Watches in progress are stored in a locked workroom in labelled trays. Nothing is left unsecured or mixed with other jobs.
No unapproved additions
Scope changes during a job are discussed and approved before proceeding. You are never charged for work you didn't agree to.
Timing machine accuracy test
All serviced movements are tested on a timing machine. Results go in writing on your accuracy report — not a verbal summary.
Written service record
A completed service record accompanies every job at handover — what was done, what was used, and the outcome. You keep the record.
